Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War Wall Map
This wall map shows greater Lincoln County in New Mexico Territory as it existed around 1878, and focuses primarily on places that were significant to the life of Billy the Kid and the events of the Lincoln County War. The locations of virtually all significant ranches, murder sites, gunfights, towns, roads and bandit hangouts within the region have been mapped, along with routes taken during certain major events, such as Billy's great escape from Lincoln and subsequent flight to Fort Sumner, the route that The Regulators took between the capture of Morton and Baker and their killing in Blackwater Canyon, and more. The map tells a story on its own and would be a great conversation piece for any fan of the Old West, but it is a must-have for anyone learning about, or already a fan of, Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War. This map is both a piece of art and an educational tool, fascinating to look at and beautiful enough to frame.
